Barack Obama and Rick Warren

Posted by susanb99 on November 21, 2006

November 21, 2006 — At the invitation of Rick Warren, Illinois Democratic Senator Barack Obama will be speaking at Warren’s church, Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA, on December 1, 2006. According to this article in The Mercury News, Obama is encouraging others to recognize “overlapping values” with conservative Christians. I’m not sure what these “overlapping values” could be, given that Obama pushes and fights for partial-birth abortion, which is infanticide at its very murderous worst.

But somehow, Warren believes he has much common ground” with Obama. After all, AIDS is a ground-breaking issue, one that transcends any Word of God, right? After all, Jesus never mentioned or banned “partial-birth abortion”, did He? Some people will use ANYTHING to further their own agenda. An agenda full of hyperbole, fantasies (eradicate poverty? not according to Jesus), and self-important swaggering.

Why is Obama’s evil in Rick Warren’s pulpit?
Communism, Islam, and Obama
